Whole-Home Air Purifiers

We install and service whole-home air purifiers that mount inside your existing ducted HVAC system, for homeowners across California and Nevada. This is the fix when filters alone are not keeping up with dust, smoke from wildfire season, pollen, cooking odors or pet dander moving through the house. It is one visit: we look at your ductwork and blower, size the unit to the system, and wire it in. Call us and we will set a time to walk your home and talk through what your air is actually carrying.

What the installation involves

A whole-home air purifier goes into the return side of your ducted system, so every cubic foot of air the blower moves gets treated before it reaches your rooms. We cut and seal a mounting cabinet into the plenum, run low-voltage control wiring, and connect power. Attic package units and closet air handlers each need a different approach, and tight attics take more planning than a garage install. Most jobs are done in a few hours. We clean up the sheet metal shavings and test airflow before we leave.

What we check before and during the work

We start with static pressure and blower capability, because adding filtration media to a system that is already straining will cut your airflow and make rooms uneven. We check return sizing, duct leakage, the condition of your current filter rack, and whether the cabinet has room for the unit. Then we look at what you are actually fighting: ag dust, smoke, pet dander, humidity. After install we recheck static pressure, confirm the purifier energizes with the blower, and show you the service interval for the media.

How we decide it is the right call

A purifier is worth it when the air problem is house-wide and ongoing, not a single room or a one-time event. If dust settles on surfaces within a day of cleaning, if allergy symptoms ease when you leave the house, or if smoke season leaves a haze indoors, whole-home filtration usually helps. If the real issue is a leaking return pulling attic air, or a filter slot that never sealed, we will tell you that first. Fixing the duct is cheaper and sometimes it is all you need.

Whole-Home Air Purifiers — quick answers

Will a whole-home air purifier slow down my airflow?

It can if the system is undersized or the ducts already restrict airflow. That is why we measure static pressure before installing. We size the purifier to your blower so cooling and heating performance stay where they should be.

Does it run all the time or only with the AC?

Most units run whenever the blower runs. If you want continuous filtration, we can set the thermostat fan to circulate on a schedule, which keeps air moving through the purifier even when the system is not cooling or heating.

How often does the media need changing?

It depends on the unit and your air. Homes near open fields or busy roads load up faster. We give you the interval at install and can check the media during any heating repair or AC service visit.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form. We ask what changed, when it started, and what the thermostat reads. That tells us whether to bring parts for a cooling fault or a heating fault.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and coil, refrigerant pressures, and the outdoor unit. You get told what failed and why, in plain words, before anything is replaced.

  3. Step 3

    Repair and verify

We make the repair, then run the system and measure the results at the vents. If a part needs ordering, we say so and give you a realistic window instead of a vague promise.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for real valley heatWe work in areas where afternoons sit above 110 degrees and systems run for months without a break. That shapes how we size repairs, check capacitors and contactors, and judge whether a compressor is genuinely done.
  • Attic and package unitsPlenty of homes across the region run attic air handlers or rooftop package units instead of a garage furnace and a side-yard condenser. We are used to the access, the duct runs, and the drain issues those setups bring.
  • Dust and debris we expectAg dust, cottonwood fluff and grass clippings pack condenser coils and starve a system of airflow. We clean what we find and show you the difference, rather than adding refrigerant to a unit that just could not breathe.
  • Heating too, not only ACFurnace repair, heat pump faults and no-heat calls get the same attention as summer work. Ignition problems, cracked or failing components and short cycling all get diagnosed before we recommend anything larger.
  • All major brands, gas & electricFrom Carrier and Trane to Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant, serviced independently.
  • Straight answersWhen a replacement beats a repair, we tell you, sometimes before we roll a truck.
