Furnace Installation — Book a Visit Today

We install and replace gas furnaces in homes across California and Nevada, and the first step is a heat load check on your actual house, not a guess based on the old nameplate. Furnaces reach the end of the road in a few ways: a cracked heat exchanger, a failed control board on a unit nobody makes parts for anymore, or short cycling that no amount of heating repair will settle. On a visit we measure the space, look at ductwork and the flue, check gas line sizing and combustion air, then give you sizing options in writing. If your furnace is in an attic or a package unit, we account for the access before we quote. Call us and we will book a look.

The furnace installation symptoms we hear most

  • The furnace runs all evening and the back rooms stay cold Undersized or failing furnace, duct losses, poor original design
  • It kicks on, runs two minutes, shuts off, then starts again Short cycling from oversizing, failing limit switch or flame sensor
  • A tech told us the heat exchanger is cracked Cracked heat exchanger, combustion safety, replacement territory
  • Our furnace is old enough that parts take a week to find Obsolete control board or blower motor, end of service life
  • There is a burnt or sooty smell when the heat comes on Burner or venting problems, incomplete combustion, needs inspection

Furnace Installation — quick answers

How long does a furnace installation take?

Most straightforward furnace replacements finish in a single day. Attic installs, tight crawl spaces, or jobs that need new flue routing or duct changes can run into a second day. We tell you which one yours looks like before we start.

Do I need new ductwork with a new furnace?

Not always. We inspect duct sizing, leakage and return air first. If the ducts cannot move the air the new furnace produces, we will say so and price the duct work separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Should I replace the AC at the same time?

If your air conditioner shares the coil and blower and is near the same age, replacing both together usually means fewer compatibility problems and one install instead of two. If the AC has years left, we can install the furnace on its own.

Is a high-efficiency furnace worth it in a hot climate?

It depends on how many heating hours you actually see. Homes in colder parts of California and Nevada get more out of a high-efficiency upgrade than mild valley locations. We will walk through your usage before recommending one, not after.

How do you size the furnace?

We do a heat load calculation based on your square footage, insulation, windows and orientation. Copying the old unit's BTU rating is how houses end up with oversized furnaces that short cycle and never feel even.

What about the permit and inspection?

Furnace replacement generally requires a permit and a final inspection from your local building department. We handle the paperwork and schedule the inspection as part of the job, and we tell you upfront what your jurisdiction requires.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form. We ask what changed, when it started, and what the thermostat reads. That tells us whether to bring parts for a cooling fault or a heating fault.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow through the filter and coil, refrigerant pressures, and the outdoor unit. You get told what failed and why, in plain words, before anything is replaced.

  3. Step 3

    Repair and verify

We make the repair, then run the system and measure the results at the vents. If a part needs ordering, we say so and give you a realistic window instead of a vague promise.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for real valley heatWe work in areas where afternoons sit above 110 degrees and systems run for months without a break. That shapes how we size repairs, check capacitors and contactors, and judge whether a compressor is genuinely done.
  • Attic and package unitsPlenty of homes across the region run attic air handlers or rooftop package units instead of a garage furnace and a side-yard condenser. We are used to the access, the duct runs, and the drain issues those setups bring.
  • Dust and debris we expectAg dust, cottonwood fluff and grass clippings pack condenser coils and starve a system of airflow. We clean what we find and show you the difference, rather than adding refrigerant to a unit that just could not breathe.
  • Heating too, not only ACFurnace repair, heat pump faults and no-heat calls get the same attention as summer work. Ignition problems, cracked or failing components and short cycling all get diagnosed before we recommend anything larger.
  • All major brands, gas & electricFrom Carrier and Trane to Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and Bryant, serviced independently.
  • Straight answersWhen a replacement beats a repair, we tell you, sometimes before we roll a truck.
