How fast can someone get out for HVAC repair?
Often the same day, depending on where you are and how the schedule looks. Call and tell us what the system is doing and we will give you a real window rather than a guess. During long heat waves the earliest slots go quickly, so calling early helps.
What can I safely check before I call?
Check the thermostat batteries and that it is set to cool or heat, look for a tripped breaker, change a clogged filter, clear leaves and grass away from the outdoor unit, and confirm your supply vents are open. Anything involving gas, refrigerant or high voltage is ours to handle.
My AC runs but the house never cools. What is wrong?
Common causes are a filthy condenser coil, a restricted filter, a failing capacitor, a refrigerant leak or a compressor that is no longer pumping properly. They look identical from the hallway. We measure pressures and temperatures on site to tell them apart, then explain what we found.
I smell gas near my furnace. What should I do?
Leave the building right away, take everyone with you, and do not touch switches. From outside, call 911 or your gas utility. Once they have made the property safe, call us and we will inspect the heating system and handle the furnace repair side of it.
Do you repair heating as well as cooling?
